🚚 SHIPMENTS WITHIN JAPAN

We also offer domestic shipping within Japan via:

  • Japan Post
  • Kuroneko Yamato (premium carrier)

Shipping is calculated based on the size and weight of the package. For customers residing in Japan, it is possible to schedule home pickup of products.

DELIVERY TIME

The informed deadlines are estimates and not guaranteed, as they depend on external factors, such as:

  • Efficiency of Japan Post and Brazil Post
  • Federal Revenue Service analysis time
  • Weather conditions, strikes, or force majeure events

Caixa do Japão is not responsible for delays caused by these factors.

🔍 TRACKING

You will receive an international tracking code to follow your order from Japan to your home.

Brazil: To track an order, enter the tracking code on the Brazil Post website. The order will arrive in Brazil and be forwarded to an international parcel center. The recipient has 20 calendar days to track the order; after this period, the package may be returned to the country of origin, alienated, or destroyed by the Federal Revenue Service.

It is the exclusive responsibility of the Customer to be aware of the deadlines and any customs duties and taxes, as well as other payments and fees related to postal services and the transport of goods across international borders.

Important:
Always check if your CPF is valid and if your address is correct at the time of shipment.
Our platform automatically generates the customs declaration (invoice) based on the information you provide.
Errors in the address and inactive CPF can cause the order to be returned to Japan with return times that can exceed 6 months, become refuse, or be retained and destroyed by the Federal Revenue Service.

🛡️ INSURANCE

All shipments via Japan Post include basic insurance, according to Japanese regulations:
  • Coverage of up to 20,000 yen (variable value according to exchange rate)
  • Available for most shipping methods (except small packages without tracking)
  • The insured value is determined by the destination country and local Post Office rules.

💰 TAXES AND CUSTOMS FEES

📄 Invoice

In Japan, there is no "nota fiscal" as in Brazil. The document issued is called an Invoice, which serves only to describe the product and its value, and it is this document that the Federal Revenue Service uses for inspection.

Taxation in Brazil

  • Import Tax: 60% on the total value (product + shipping + insurance)
  • ICMS: state tax, charged according to local legislation
  • Responsibility: you, as the importer, are the legal responsible for paying these fees, as well as for tracking, monitoring, and the deadlines of the shipment (30 days within the Brazil Post website).

Caixa do Japão is not responsible for Federal Revenue Service decisions, retentions, taxation, or returns of orders. Complaints must be made directly to the competent authorities (e.g., Brazil Post ID Portal).

The payment deadline is up to 20 calendar days after notification. Paying earlier speeds up the release of the merchandise.
