CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
The customer agrees to:
Verify the legality of the products they wish to import;
Not acquire prohibited, controlled, or illegal items (weapons, prescription-only medicines, counterfeit products, etc.);
Respect copyrights, trademarks, and privacy;
Keep contact information updated;
Not use Caixa do Japão's address for purposes unrelated to the contracted service (misuse subject to fine and product loss);
Assume full responsibility for the actions of third parties who use their account improperly.
The customer has the right to rectification – the right to request that we change or update their personal data when it is incorrect or incomplete.
It is the exclusive responsibility of the Customer to analyze the legal and financial implications regarding the import of goods and services available in international purchases.
The Customer must specifically pay attention and refrain from acquiring products and/or services that violate applicable law, statute, ordinance, or regulation; are related to the sale of prohibited or controlled substances; items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or privacy.
The Customer must only use Caixa do Japão's Services for lawful purposes. Caixa do Japão is not responsible for the actions of third parties (delays, losses, returns, etc.), such as postal and freight services.
All terms and conditions of use for third-party services are subject to separate agreements, and the Customer will be solely responsible for the relevant customs duties and taxes, as well as other payments and fees related to postal services and the transport of goods across international borders.
We do not provide the service of processing and sending gift cards, payment cards, discount cards, coupons, and gift vouchers acquired by Customers from third parties, whether individuals or legal entities. We reserve the right to refuse to offer a service without clarifying the reasons.
Right to close and delete your account, when interested.
By using Caixa do Japão's services, the customer declares to have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions of Use, as well as our Privacy Policy. If the customer does not agree with any part of these terms, they must immediately cease using our services.
CAIXA DO JAPÃO RESPONSIBILITIES
We act exclusively as a logistical intermediary: We receive, store, and redirect orders.
We are not a store or supplier; our role is to safely and practically mediate the entire process: from purchase to delivery in your destination country.
We are not responsible for:
Customer errors (address, declaration, exchange rate);
Customs fees or decisions by government agencies;
Damage during international transport;
Product availability in third-party stores.
We reserve the right to refuse to send products that violate Japanese export laws, even if permitted in Brazil.
You are contracting Caixa do Japão only to receive your boxes in Japan and send them to you. Caixa do Japão's responsibility is limited to the amount of handling fees (excluding shipping costs).
The customer must indemnify and hold Caixa do Japão harmless from any and all claims, including legal costs in defending against third-party claims, due to their irregular use of the Caixa do Japão service in any way.
Caixa do Japão will not be responsible for any damage, whether due to its error or omission in providing false or incorrect information, or for failing to provide all necessary information.
Caixa do Japão is not responsible for incorrect and/or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. The completion of the shipping address is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the customer; our system prints labels according to what was filled in by the customer.
Caixa do Japão is responsible for complying with these terms and the services provided herein.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the website.
